Techtron is a Unique Reinforced, Semi-Crystalline Polymer

Techtron HPV PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) is an internally lubricated semi-crystalline, reinforced polymer designed to close the performance and price gap between standard thermoplastic materials and advanced engineering plastics. It is a high temperature plastic that has the highest levels of chemical resistance compared to other plastics. This material resists high temperature and steam, while acids, fuels, and strong bases typically do not compromise its properties or makeup.

It has minimal moisture absorption and low thermal expansion. Techtron is flame retardant and displays superb electrical properties. It also boasts high mechanical strength, creep resistance, and stiffness, even at high temperatures. It has very good dimensional stability, impressive UV-resistance, good dielectric and electrical insulating properties, excellent frictional and wear behavior, high resistance to chemicals and hydrolysis, as well as outstanding resistance to high energy radiation. This thermoplastic is frequently utilized in tolerance machines components that are designed to be of a specific nature.

In addition, Techtron is used in a variety of applications including, but not necessarily limited to: manifolds, medical equipment components, endoscopic probe positioning ferrule, distributor valves, steam cleaning equipment inserts, clamps, positioning sight and sighting arm, etc. This type of plastic has many different uses and is quite versatile.
